Dr. Oswald was born and raised in Barnwell, South Carolina. She graduated from Barnwell High School in 2013, where she was honored as Miss Warhorse. Dr. Oswald then attended Clemson University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences in 2017. She continued her education at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2021 in the top 10 of her class.

Dr. Oswald’s passion for veterinary medicine began at an early age while spending time at her grandfather, Everette Sanders’, home. She and her sisters loved visiting to ride, feed, and care for his horses, and she especially enjoyed helping the veterinarian during visits. Those experiences helped inspire her lifelong love for animals and veterinary care.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jacob Oswald, and they have one son, Rhett, who was born at 28 weeks and is now thriving, as well as a yellow Labrador Retriever named Henry. Dr. Oswald and her family live in Allendale, South Carolina, on the Oswald family farm (JCO Farms).

In her spare time, Dr. Oswald enjoys being on the water, spending time with family and friends, reading, watching reality TV, and staying active in her church. She feels incredibly grateful to be part of the Dogwood team and looks forward to caring for your beloved pets as if they were her own.
